Habitat Critical Home Repair (HCHR) Habitat Critical Home Repair (formerly Isaiah 58 ) is a division of Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte that works with current homeowners with limited resources who have a need for a critical repair in their home. HCHR works to make homes safer and dryer, and completes home repairs to reduce unsafe and insufficient living conditions. Like Habitat Charlotte, HCHR is funded by donations and uses construction volunteers to keep costs low and affordable for those in need of their services.
