Hope For Charlotte is committed to affecting the lives of our city’s youth by partnering with organizations that are targeting our youth with effective education initiatives. The following are three of these organizations
Faith, Hope and Love: Faith, Hope and Love is an after school mentoring program through 2XSalt that seeks to target children who are struggling to keep pace with their peers. Focusing on reading, writing, and math skills, FHL also teaches kids their unique value in God’s eyes.
NoDa School of Arts: NoDa School of Arts seeks to provide affordable arts programing to under-served youth in Charlotte. They have a six week summer program where kids learn dance, drama, art, and singing that culminates with a summer musical performance. For more information about the NoDa School of Arts please contact Amanda Bullen at amandabullen@nodaschoolofarts.org
Lose The Training Wheels: Lose The Training Wheels is a one week camp that teaches special needs children how to ride a bycicle without training wheels. This is a remarkable event that brings hope and dignity to one of the most under-served communities in Charlotte. For more information on the camp in Charlotte please contact Claire Jordan at Clairejordan@mac.com
