NoDa School of Arts

The NoDa School of Arts is a non-profit based in Charlotte, NC which provides high quality performance and fine art training to urban youth who otherwise would not have access to the arts. They serve the community with several different programs throughout the year. During the school year, The NoDa School of Arts offers after-school programing at the local schools and community centers. In the past there have been classes in musical theater, African dance, mixed media, voice and fine arts.

During the summer The NoDa School of Arts provides a six week summer camp, where children ages 7-18 learn the ins and the outs of musical theater. They get hands on direction in costuming, lighting, stage management, stage design and construction, blocking, choreography, music and voice.

This summer they will be performing Willy Wonka Junior. The cast consists of 32 children.
